We are excited to announce that our annual IBM Cognos User Forum will be taking place on Friday the 28th of June at the Mallory Court Hotel, Leamington Spa. The User Forum now in its 9th year continues to grow in popularity so please register as soon as possible. 

Since our last forum much has happened in the world of finance and within the IBM solution portfolio. The aim of this years forum is to bring Cognos users together and to look in detail and discuss what has changed and how this impacts you. 

This year our agenda has been shaped by feedback from previous forums - areas covered this year will include:

Morning Session

9:00 - Registration and Light Breakfast

9:30 - Introduction and Welcome: A short discussion and presentation around the changing face of finance (AI, Automation, Cloud)

10:00 - IBM Product Roadmap for 2019/20 by presented Chris Marriott, Offering Manager for IBM Business Analytics 

10:45 - Coffee

11:00 - Keynote presentation from Steve Morlidge, Business Forecasting thought leader, and author of "Future Ready: How to Master Business Forecasting" and "The Little Book of Beyond Budgeting". Steve will be discussing the benefits of moving to rolling forecasts as well as best practice for businesses on the journey to finance transformation

12:00 - Finance projects best practice / Introduction to afternoon sessions

12:30 - Lunch

In the afternoon we will be running separate tracks for TM1/Planning Analytics and Cognos Analytics users. Highlighting upgrade considerations and the best practice techniques we have learned to get the most out of your IBM Solution. There will also be a session which will cover 'Power BI vs Cognos Analytics - which one should I buy?'.
