Details

Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location: Nottingham City Centre
Working Pattern: Full-time, permanent
Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites

Our consultancy practice is devoted to assisting our reputable, blue-chip clients overcome their planning, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting challenges to unlock the capability of their data. Our consultants combine strong communication skills with the ability to learn and apply technical solutions. The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, and develop an understanding of the commercial objectives behind their work. Training and supervision will be provided to help you build both your business analysis and technical consulting skills. As you develop your skills and experience, you will become increasingly responsible for managing your own workload and supporting customers directly, including occasional travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities will include:

• Capturing and documenting client business requirements.
• Managing and prioritising inbound support requests.
• Working with stakeholders to understand planning, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Producing business and solution design documentation.
• Supporting workshops, demonstrations and client meetings.
• Assisting consultants in validating solutions against business requirements.
• Investigating issues and supporting the delivery of enhancement requests.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

As your experience develops, you will have opportunities to expand your business analysis, consulting and technical skills through:

• Contribute to the design of Planning Analytics solutions.
• Support the development and enhancement of Planning Analytics models.
• Assist with the implementation of client solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing installations.
• Lead client demonstrations and workshops.

The person:

• An interest in analytical technology and data-driven business solutions.
• Degree in a numerate, analytical or technical discipline (for example Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Economics or a related subject).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage workload independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Disciplined, accountable and organised approach to work.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and develop consultancy skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
